Alfred Stephen Waterman, born July 8th 1954, known to most as Steve, departed this world in a peaceful sleep on February 13th 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Larson Waterman and Barbara Diane (Griffin) Waterman. Steve was loved by everyone he encountered; his charming personality stole your heart. He was a lifelong resident of Portland, Munjoy Hill, Kennedy Park area. He grew up on East Oxford Street, the youngest of four, with two brothers, Michael and Paul, and a sister Barbara Ann. He attended school at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception through 6th grade, passing on to middle school at Jack, finishing at Portland High with a GED. Alfred's artwork is amazing, there was no limit to what his quiet mind possessed. He graduated from Augusta Arts Academy with his bachelor's degree, receiving high honors.
