Windham Maine, Carol A. Hall, 89 passed away peacefully March 25, 2026.

Carol was born in St. Paul Minnesota on January 30, 1937, the daughter of Harry and Dorotha Sawyer. At the age of 7 her family moved to Portland, Maine. Carol moved to Windham in 1962 with her first husband Robert Edwards. In 1970 she began a life on Mineral Spring Dairy Farm with second husband Charles W. Hall Sr.

Carol, was an active and vibrant part of the farm. She loved every part of being a dairy farmer. The cow herd she helped build with her late husband Charles Sr. was her pride and joy. She enjoyed gardening. She always wanted to grow enough green beans to preserve for the year ahead. She loved to have baked goods available in the kitchen to whoever came through the door. Carol had a love for horses. She enjoyed horseback riding and showing horses in her earlier years. She enjoyed the companionship of her Border Collie dogs. She was very pleased with the work the dogs did for the farm.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Dorotha Sawyer, her husband Charles Hall Sr. her brother James Sawyer, sisters Blanch Pramis and Marilyn Hodgdon.

She is survived by her daughter Dorotha Bell, step children, Charles Hall Jr, Rick Hall, Wanda Hall, Les Hall and Grand Children Jennifer Bell, Brandon and Seth Bell, Heather Emmons, Stacy Hall, Lori Melanson, Aric, Jared and Michael Hall, and Great Grand Children Jake and Abbie Emmons, Logan Doughty, Jack Bell, McKenzie Bell, Colby Sturtevant, Kassidy Tolliver

A remembrance will be held on the farm at a later date.
