It Is with deep sorrow and sadness to announce the passing of Cathy Jean Kendrick. Cathy, 74, of Mechanic Falls, Maine passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on September 5, 2024. Cathy was born in Greenfield, Massachusetts to the late William Francis and Jean Julia (Bowers) Bezio on December 8,1949, Cathy was the oldest of five children. Cathy or CJ as she was known by her family and friends was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Cathy was self-employed in the craft business, she loved working with her hands from ceramics, painting, crocheting, sewing and woodworking. She retired but still enjoyed creating items for family and friends. Cathy was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, she enjoyed watching all their games. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by 1 sister, Carey Willis and 1 son, James Brian Woods. Survived by her Loving husband of 39 years, James E. Kendrick, sisters Cindy Southwood of NC, Candy Burch of Canton, Ohio, brother William (Bill) Francis Bezio jr. of Oxford, Me, son's Bruce Woods and wife Stephanie Of West Palm Beach, Fla., Ben Woods of Buckfield, Me., daughter Nancy W. McAvoy and husband Scott of Vass, NC., step-son Michael Kendrick of Brunswick, Me , step-daughter Beth Skinner and husband Tim of Sebring, Fla., 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A private Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends.
