Christine Crossman, 67, of Windham, passed away Thursday, April 25th, 2024 at her home. She was born to Diana and John Quinn May 31st, 1956 in Portland, ME. She met the love of her life, Richard Crossman, and they later wed May 18th, 1979. Her formative years were spent in Portland where she attended St. Dominic's and later graduated high school from Catherine McAuley in 1975. She worked for Travelers Insurance and retired from New England Telephone Company. She also had multiple experiences working for and eventually owning a convenience store. She loved to write, read, and be around people. She was an aunt to many both blood related and not. Kids flocked to her and she was able to help them enjoy themselves in any situation. Building fairie gardens, looking for gnomes, and enjoying all the little pieces of nature. She was a passionate storyteller and enjoyed the writing and telling of them to anyone who would listen. She is survived by her husband Richard of 44 years and her two children: Rori Crossman and her husband Nick Dargie of Biddeford; Brenton Crossman, his wife Cheri and children McKenzie, Garrett, and Landyn. Her two sisters and their families Joan Harmon of Gray and Mary Mitton of Biddeford. She is predeceased by her parents John and Diana Quinn. A celebration of life will be planned for a date later in the spring.
