It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, Christine E. Jordan. Christine, 71, of Sebago, Maine, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1954, in North Conway, New Hampshire, to Beverly and Merle Harmon. Christine fought a courageous battle with cancer, and her love, strength, and faith touched all who knew her. Christine graduated from Lake Region High School and went on to work at Blue Cross and Blue Shield before joining the Lake Region School District, where she devoted 29 years in the cafeteria. She was well known for her baking—especially her famous whoopie pies—and retired in 2020. Beyond her work, she gave generously of her time, volunteering with the Parent Teacher Association and local baseball teams. She had a passion for knitting and shared her gift by creating beautiful hats for family and friends. Christine loved road trips, exploring National Parks, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her world, and it was rare to see her without them by her side. Christine is survived by her husband, Barry, with whom she recently celebrated 49 years of marriage; her son Brian and granddaughters Jenna and Sophie; her daughter Kelly and husband Kevin, and grandsons Jordan and Jackson; her sister Nancy Thompson and husband Tommy; her sister-in-law Diana Manner and husband Jim; her niece Amanda and husband Adam; nephews Jason, Andy and partner Heather, Karl and partner Bethanii, and Kurt and partner Jordana; as well as great-nieces Addie and Natalie and great-nephew Asa. She was predeceased by her parents, Beverly and Merle, and her sister, Sandra. In lieu of flowers, and to help with medical and funeral expenses, donations may be made to Barry's Venmo: venmo.com/u/Barry-Jordan-25. Cards and checks may be sent to: In Memory of Christine Jordan 38 Dolloff Rd Sebago, ME 04029 Christine's wishes were for a private family service.
