AUGUSTA - Clayton Philip Doray of Augusta, passed peacefully September 21, 2022. He was born March 9, 1953, son of Richard Doray and Emily Doray. Clayton was a kind and generous man. He was a man of many trades and well educated. He loved watching the Patriots and doing crossword puzzles. He loved playing guitar, if you were fortunate enough to hear him play, it was truly something beautiful. He is survived by his brother, Richard Doray of South Carolina; four daughters, Emily Stuart, Jennifer Doray, Cecile Sirois, and Crystal Austin; two sons; Jay Austin and his wife, Jennifer Austin, Shawn Doray and his wife Darcey Doray. Clayton had 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, David Doray, Josiath Doray, Rodney Doray; and his sisters, Eleanor Doray, Beverly Norton, and Virginia Sutter. He will live forever in our hearts and will be sorely missed. A celebration of life will be held on October 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the American Legion Hall at 396 Eastern Ave. Augusta, ME 04330. We hope everyone will come and share a memory of Clayton with us.
