Craig Joel "Freebird" Paradis, 44, passed away suddenly and went to be with the Lord on 6/27/2022 at 9:46 a.m. in Lewiston, ME. Craig was born on 2/4/1978 in Lewiston to Patricia Ouellette and Raymond Paradis. He attended Edward Little High School and excelled in mathematics and Junior Achievement. Craig loved the outdoors, and studied Recreational Management at Unity College, as well as serving in the AmeriCorps. He loved Rock music and was an avid concert goer and memorabilia collector. Craig had an affecting personality and way with people. His smile, laugh, and clever way with words were cherished by many. Craig loved children and was working towards a life of helping them. Craig was a generous soul who loved to give thoughtful gifts. He gave the incredible gift of life as an organ donor. Craig took pride in his work as a forklift driver managing a warehouse, stonemason and contractor. He created many beautiful stone walls, patios and pathways. He loved his family and had a special relationship with his grandparents. Craig will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. Craig is survived by his parents Patricia and Gerard Ouellette, Raymond and Anne Paradis, brother Michael "Willie" Paradis, grandmother Lorraine Ouellette, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Craig was predeceased by his other grandparents, an aunt, an uncle and two cousins.
