CAPE ELIZABETH – Damian Cruz Bevers, 47, passed away last Thursday, January 30, 2025, in his bed at home. Born in Machias, Maine on September 17, 1977 to Denise Bevers and Ramón (Chico) Cruz, he attended schools in Portland and Cape Elizabeth and worked at Nova Seafood, Ltd. He enjoyed listening to music, watching comedy and horror films, and sharing good food with friends and family. Those closest to him enjoyed his kind heart and sense of humor and would often refer to him as their personal cheerleader. He was a loved father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his mother, Denise Bevers, his five children, Romeo Cruz Bevers, Xavier Cruz Bevers, Zoey Cruz Bevers, Damian Cruz Bevers Jr., and Atreyu Cruz Bevers, his twin sisters, Sonia Rosa Ciocca and Alicia Ciocca, and his stepfather, Angelo Ciocca.
