David Arthur Greenleaf May 15, 1967 – December 28, 2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Arthur Greenleaf, 57, of Livermore Falls, Maine, who died peacefully on December 28, 2024, at Hospice of Southern Maine. Born in Lewiston, Maine on May 15, 1967, David was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. David graduated from Mt. Abram High School in 1985 before serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Sill, Battery B7. His time in the military was just one chapter in a life that was defined by his love for the outdoors and his hard work as a woodsman. David was deeply connected to nature, spending many hours fishing on the river, caring for his dogs and horses, and cruising the open roads on his motorcycle, in his cherished Chevelle, Oldsmobile, and his "Big Block" Chevrolet. David's spirit was as free as the roads he traveled. David is survived by his mother, Anne Wilcox; daughter, Khasandra Choate; brothers, Shawn Greenleaf, Scott Greenleaf, Bill Wilcox, Stan Wilcox; and sisters, Margaret Wilcox and Michelle Wilcox. He was predeceased by his father, George Greenleaf. As we say goodbye to David, we take solace in the words he often lived by: "How long time lies is one word." May he rest in peace, hoping he has seen everything there was to see. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
