David Wayne Pettibone from Sanford Maine died peacefully on January 4, 2022 at Southern Maine Medical Center after a long illness. He was born May 22, 1971 in Portsmouth NH. Graduated from Marshwood High School in 1990. He was the son of his loving mother Carolyn Pettibone from Eliot Maine. He was predeceased by his father Robert Pettibone. David is survived by his children Shane Metcalf and Shannan Pettibone. His brother Michael Pettibone, wife Susan, and children Amanda and Nik. His sister Catherine (Pettibone) Dionne, husband Paul, and daughter Aaliyah. His brother Robert Dutcher, wife Stephanie, and children Holly and Angela. Also by many cousins, family, and friends. David was a "jack of all trades" working as a line cook, fork truck operator, and painter. David loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
