Obituary

On Saturday, July 16th, 2022 Deborah Lynn Foss "Ingerson" loving wife and mother of five children peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 64, after her seven year battle with brain cancer "Gleoblastoma". Deborah was born on August 27th, 1957 in Brunswick, Maine to Lawrence Ingerson and Harriett Morrill. On August 28th, 1976 she married her highschool sweetheart Bruce Foss. They raised five children whom she lovingly homeschooled. Deborah had a passion for helping others. She was involved with Spirit of Fire Church, Home Schoolers of Maine, multiple food ministries, and community outreach organizations including Mother and Unborn Baby Care. Whether she had just met you or known you all your life, you were instantly friends. She loved photography, arts and crafts especially knitting and sewing for her family. She is known for her loving personality, compassionate spirit, beautiful singing voice, and her gift for gab. Deborah was preceded in death by her mother Harriett. She is survived by her father Lawrence, husband Bruce, Son Brandon and his wife Lisa, daughter Jessica and her husband Chad, daughter Caitlyn and her husband Chris, daughter Valerie, son Tyler and his wife Autumn, brother Lawrence and his wife Eve, sister Laura and her husband Ben, sister Heidi, brother Mark and his wife Sharon, six grand children Alex, Jayson, Tristan, Lillyanna, Jennifer and Logan, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 19th, 2022 at the 1st Parish Congregational Church of Pownal, on Hallowell Rd, at 11am. Donations can be made to the Dempsey Center or the American Porphyria Foundation in lieu of flowers. The family would also like to send a special thank you to CHANS home hospice for keeping Deborah comfortable in her last days.
