Donna Lee Lachance,71, of Mechanic falls, Maine, daughter of the late Russell and Alice (Miles) Lachance, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 21st at Portland Maine Med. Donna was born on November 15th 1952 in Bangor, Maine. At a young age, Donna's family moved to Auburn where she attended Auburn Schools. Donna worked most of her life doing retail and also ran her own small business doing wallpapering , home decor and cleaning as well as being a homemaker. Donna met and married Ivan Michaud at the age of 16. They went on to have 3 children..Later met Duane Littlefield and went on to have 1 child. Donna retired and spent her time doing puzzles which she greatly enjoyed as well as spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and watching lifetime movies to pass the time. Whenever she had the opportunity, she loved going to the ocean. Donna was extremely family orientated and loved unconditionally and ferociously. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by 2 sisters, Sharon Lachance and Debbie LaChance LeHouillier. Survived by her 2 brothers Stephen Lachance, Russell LaChance JR and 2 sisters, Carol Russell and Karen Lachance .5 children, Sherry Ritchie, Cory Michaud, Dale Michaud, Dustin Littlefield and adopted daughter Melissa Noel. 9 grandchildren, Franklin, Shlina,Trevor, Cierra "Brookie", Shelby, Alana, Aidan, Addison, Iris and many great grandchildren. We want to thank the staff at Maine Medical Center for their loving care during Donna's stay. They were amazing!
