Mr. Edward DEPUGH of Waterbury Ct, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Maine Medical Center in Portland Maine. Edward DEPUGH was born in Waterbury Ct, on August 19, 1960. The son of the late Edward DEPUGH Sr. And Loretta DEPUGH Cross. Edward DEPUGH was raised in Waterbury Ct, and a graduate of Wilby High School. He proudly served a great amount of time in the army fighting for our country. Edward was known as " Uncle Junior ", our protector. Edward was a very compassionate man with a heart of gold. Edward loved music, especially the oldies, he also loved talking on the phone. He would call so often, just to let you know he was thinking about you, or to ask "Are you okay?", "What are you doing?" but before you even heard him speaking, you'd know who it was because he would let you hear his favorite song, "Hole in the Wall" by Mel Waiters playing in the background. Edward loved dancing and family gatherings. Family was everything to Edward, specially the bond he shared with his loving mother Loretta DEPUGH Cross and his sisters. He had a special love for his nieces and nephews, especially his niece, Sharon Abrams, whom he loved dearly as if she were his own daughter. In times of doubt he would always say "Call my niece! She will take care of it!" Edward will always remain living in our hearts forever… Left to cherish his memories besides his mother are four sisters; Linda Cross( New Haven, Ct), Virginia DEPUGH ( North Carolina), Dana DEPUGH (Washington Maine) and Oletha Thomas ( Waterbury Ct). He leaves two brothers; Charles DEPUGH ( Hampton VA) and Freddy Thomas. Edward also was predeceased by one brother Robert Harvey( Waterbury Ct) and three sisters, Barbara DEPUGH ( North Carolina )May DEPUGH (Hartford Ct) and Patricia DEPUGH ( Waterbury Ct) He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved and protected dearly.
