Jeanne May Cash, 71, of South Portland, Maine passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on November 25, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Jeanne was born April 4, 1954 in Lynn, Massachusetts , the daughter of Loraine Woodsum and Robert Brown. Jeanne graduated from South Portland High School in 1972. Following high school she worked for AT&T before raising her four children. After her children had grown Jeanne chose to continue caring for others, finding a calling in healthcare as a CNA. Jeanne married Robert Cash on November 3, 1983. They were married for 42 blessed years, and they had God at the center of their marriage. Jeanne especially loved being in nature, oftentimes enjoying walks at Willard Beach, Fort Williams and Hinckley park. Jeanne also enjoyed writing poetry, where she was published in The National Library of Poetry. She enjoyed crafting and engaging in photography. She loved reading the Bible and Christian devotionals. Remaining to cherish Jeanne's memory are spouse, Robert Cash; children, Melissa Vasconcelos, Jennifer Pekarek, Robert Cash Jr. and Elizabeth Cash and their spouses; grandchildren, Gabriela, Lydia, Isaac and Landon Vasconcelos, Declan and Maisie Pekarek, Robert Cash III, Kaylee and Zachariah Cash; and her siblings; Robert, Linda, Nancy, and Barbara, and spouses. Preceding Jeanne in death are her parents, Loraine and Robert Brown.
