Jed A. Marcelino, 93, of Standish, passed away on July 28, 2023 at his home. He was born in Burlington, Vermont on April 3, 1930 to parents Martino and Marguerite (Stannard) Marcelino. Jed married Theresa Brunelle on May 15, 1948. The two of them had one daughter, Lynn. Jed was a hardworking man who proudly served in the U.S. Army and National Guard. He was the owner of 2 service stations and was a service manager for many years at J&B International. Jed was a devoted member of St. Mark's Church in Burlington Vermont for over 50 years, where he was the Eucharistic Minister, and a frequent volunteer for his community. He was a lifelong member of the Burlington Elk's Lodge #916. Jed is survived by his daughter, Lynn Cote, and her husband, Dean, of Standish Maine; granddaughters, Jade Godin, and her husband, Eric, Christie Omodeo, and her husband, Nick; great grandchildren, Destiny, Chase and Liam Godin, and Aria and Kai Omodeo; brother, Ernest Marcelino Sr, and his nephew Henry Robare. He is predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Theresa Marcelino; siblings, Arthea Robare, Phillip Marcelino Sr, and Martino Marcelino Jr. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on August 14, 2023 at St. Mark's Church, 1251 North Avenue, Burlington, VT 05408, with a burial to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, 300 Weaver St., Winooski, VT 05404.
