TOGUS -- John M. LaBrecque, 77 of Livermore Falls, Maine passed away at the Togus VA Hospital on Friday, May 13, 2022 with family by his side. He was born on January 9, 1945 in Lewiston, ME, first son of Rene and Theresa LaBrecque. A graduate of Jay High School. He served his country for 4 years in the Air Force as a medic. He worked at Togus VA Hospital for 16 years, he retired as an insurance agent. An outdoorsman, John enjoyed fishing on his boat, ice fishing, hunting, archery, golfing, vegetable gardening, the horse races, and poker. John is survived by his siblings, Aldea Lawler (husband William), Celine Aveni (husband Roger) Mariette Bertelli, James LaBrecque, Arline Helms (Stephen), Joseph LaBrecque, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Renette Petersoli (Joseph) A burial service will be held on June 18th at 11:00am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls, Me. Memorial contributions in John's memory in lieu of flowers may be made to a Hospice of your choice.
