John C. Lee Sr., 82 years old, of Turner, Maine, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2023. John was born and raised in Wenonah, New Jersey. After attending high school, John joined the Army in 1958, serving three years. In 1967 he married Cathy Borden, and in 1971, their son, John C. Lee Jr., was born. Always loving Maine, they moved to East Sumner in 1975. John worked 25 years for Cornwall Industries until they closed, and then he worked for RSU # 10 until his retirement in 2022. John is survived by his wife, Cathy, son John Jr., and his two grandsons, Julian Lee Mills and Alex Lee Mills. His parents, Russell and Marie Lee, and sister, Marge Sullivan, preceded him in death. At John's request, there will be a memorial service for the family.
