It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected death of our son Jonathon (Jon) Bardsley on Sept. 15, 2025 at the age of 31. Jon grew up in Maynard, MA and York Beach, ME. Growing up Jon had a love for playing baseball and basketball throughout his early school years. He had a passion for skateboarding (riding at skate parks from Maine to Florida), BMX trick bike riding, BMX bike racing, sno-boarding, and surfing. All of his summers were spent in York, Maine, eventually moving there permanently. Jon went onto jobs in landscape, hardscape, and his final love working for Glidden Excavating & Paving out of Gorham, Maine. But his greatest achievement in life were his children who he loved with all of his heart and soul, Caiden, age 10, Kinsley, age 6, Carson, age 2, and their step-brother Kamdyn, age 9. Jon leaves his parents Donald & Barbara Bardsley, his siblings Donald Bardsley, Jr. (Bellingham, MA), Sara Bardsley (Taunton, MA), Angela LaGasse (Somerset, MA), Rebecca Paquette (South Hadley, MA), Matthew Bardsley (Fort Meyers, FL) and Veronica Bardsley (Milford, MA). As well as many nieces, nephews, aunts,uncles, cousins, and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life for Jon on Sunday, Oct. 5th at 11:30-3:30, at the Dover Elks, 282 Durham Rd., Dover, NH
