Judith E. (Witham) Doughty October 22,1943-November 10,2021 Judy,as she was known to family and friends,lost her courageous four year battle with cancer on November 10,2021. The daughter of Barbara G. Eaton and Frank C. Witham Sr., Judy was born and raised in Portland Maine. She attended Portland public schools and graduated from Portland High. On October 27,1962 Judy married her grade school sweetheart Stephen B. Doughty. Together they raised four wonderful children,Karen,Bruce,Patrick and Peter in Yarmouth Maine where they would reside until near retirement when they moved to Bowdoinham Maine. Upon retirement from LL Bean,Judy was free to spend more time doing alot of the things that brought her and others joy. Among these were volunteering for Camp Sunshine,spoiling her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren,relaxing(ie cooking,baking,picking berries,four wheeling and boating) at the camp on Toddy Pond and visiting friends and family from Maine to Florida and points between. Judy is survived by her husband,her children and their spouses and families as well as many beloved nieces,nephews and friends. Judy touched many lives and her life cannot be summed up in a few short paragraphs. If you knew her,you likely loved her and have a wonderful remembrance to hold in your heart or even a fun story to share.
