Loretta A. Alfiero, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, wife, daughter and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, in Gorham, Maine, at the age of 62.
Loretta was born on September 11, 1963, in Statesboro, Georgia, to Sandra Brannen, who survives her, and Edwin Brannen Sr., who predeceased her. She was also lovingly raised with the presence of her stepmother, Patricia Brannen, who survives her.
As the oldest of her siblings, Loretta held a special place within her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony Alfiero, as well as her sister, Tonya, and her brother, Patrick. She is survived by her siblings, Edwin Jr., Sonia, and Belinda, along with many other family members who loved her dearly.
Loretta was a devoted mother to her four sons and a loving grandmother. She opened her heart and home to a grandson whom she raised as her own son, creating a bond that went far beyond words. She leaves behind multiple grandchildren and a family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Loretta was a longtime resident of Standish, Maine, where she made her home and built many memories throughout the years. She will be remembered for the love she gave to her family, the strength she carried throughout her life, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Though she is no longer with us, Loretta's memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and all those whose lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
