Louise M. Patterson, 83, of Hollis died peacefully at home. She was the daughter of Elmer and Bertha Whitten. When her children were young she knitted their hats and mittens went sledding with them on the hills of the family farm. Louise's hobbies were collecting sap and making syrup, quilting and working on puzzles and sharing them. Enjoyed playing Yahtzee, dominoes and phase ten with family and friends. Louise always looked forward to flying south to North Carolina to get her hugs from her brother, children and grandchildren. Louise enjoyed camping with her late husband Robert Patterson and his family. She also enjoyed watching wildlife. She was married to her first husband Walter C. Harmon with whom they had six children . She was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Patterson; parents, Elmer & Bertha Whitten; one brother, Milan Whitten; sister, Elizabeth Palmer, and step daughter LuAnn Patterson. She is survived by two sisters; Evelyn Wescott, of Maine, and Electa Jones, of Maine; one brother, Alvah (Darlene)Whitten, of North Carolina; Six children; Sandra (Bill) Dymond, of North Carolina, Roland (Wendy) Harmon of North Carolina, Patricia Borton, of Maine, Bonny Harmon, of North Carolina, Lovey Hilton, of Maine, and Nancy (Steve) Underwood of North Carolina. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; her step daughter, Patricia, and many nieces and nephews. Her wishes where not to have any services at this time. Louise will be buried in the Spring next to her late husband and family at the South Buxton Cemetery (Tory Hill) where we will celebrate the life of Louise.
