On Thursday, February 9th, Norma Wnek, beloved wife of Gary, passed away. Born to Ruth Small, Norma grew up in Maine with her sister Jean and her brother Roland. She had a sense of adventure and left home to make a life for herself. She worked at Maine Med before moving to Connecticut to marry Gary. There she worked as an executive secretary at Aetna until they were able to move back to Maine. They were together for over 35 years. Norma was a very kind and extremely loyal person. She had a special place in her heart for cats and rescued quite a few of them over the years. She loved living in Maine, going to Stowe with her sister, visiting with friends, and Gary's cooking.
