Milo - Patti Sue (Worster) Demers, 66, passed away July 8, 2024, after a very brief illness, at Maine Medical Center, with her husband, Gerry Demers, by her side. She was born in Dover-Foxcroft on May 12, 1958 to Allen and Glenys Worster. In 2020, Patti was able to reunite with and marry her highschool sweetheart after more than 45 years of separation. The two of them bought a home in the local area and started reconnecting with friends both current and from years past. Her home was her life and she loved spending time with the flower beds and decorating with gnomes. Patti loved all animals, but especially dogs. It was very apparent to anyone who entered her home, that the dogs had priority. During the 5 years she spent with Gerry, they lived in two homes and 3 motor homes, traveling between Maine and Florida. And of course, the dogs always went with her. She especially loved her little dog Sadie Mae, who passed away in May. Patti will always be remembered for her love of life which showed everywhere she went. She loved to have fun and always had a smile on her face. Patti is lost to us, but heaven gained another soul and we will see her again someday. Patti is survived by her husband, Gerry Demers, of Milo, and their dog Boomer; one son Michael Hudak and partner Kristen Mcadams of Texas; a sister Tina Johnston, of Milo; a brother Allen "Tiger" Worster and wife Tina of Williamsburg; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many special friends. Patti was predeceased by her mother, Glenys (Nicols) Worster, father, Allen Worster, and brother-in-law, Scott Johnston. A graveside service will be held on August 11, 2024 at the Village Cemetery in Brownville, Maine at 1:00 P.M. There will be a celebration of Patti's life following the service at the Milo Town Hall (first floor), with light refreshments. In lieu of flowers, she would have preferred people donate to any local humane society or pet rescue. She wanted to adopt them all.
