Pauline " Polly " Boynton went to join her husband Roger in Heaven on July 15th. She was the daughter of Ray and Nora Campbell, born in Millinocket on September 19th, 1934. After graduating from Stearns High School in 1951 , she began her career at Great Northern Paper Company, in the mill office, at the age of 16. She left in 1960 to raise her children and returned in 1981, doing payroll for the Woodlands division of GNP. She worked various jobs at home in between her years at GNP. Her last job was her "fun" job, working as a tour escort for Cyr Bus Tours which she loved because she enjoyed traveling. Polly was a faithful member of the Millinocket Baptist Church since she was 14 years.old. She loved watching the Red Sox and Patriots play, playing cards with her buddies, cross stitching and knitting. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great -grandmother. Her family was her passion, loving every minute she spent with them. She is survived by her son William Boynton and wife Kate of Taylors, SC, daughter Jane McCarthy and husband Mark from Westbrook, ME; grandchildren Philip Rollins and wife Gen, Danielle Pete and husband Dan, Matthew McCarthy and wife Linsey, Ben Boynton, Garrett McCarthy and wife Emily and Caroline Boynton; great -grandchildren Evie, Jacob, Kayla and Ava; sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Carl Brown; several nieces, nephews and special friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roger of 61 years, brother Eugene Campbell, brother and sister-in-law Ray and Marion Campbell, sister and brother-in-law Bertha and Charlie Prescott, sister and brother-in-law Connie Milliken and John Tansey, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Atlee and Shirley Goodwin.
