Roger Lyndon Vosmus, of Gorham Maine passed away on September 2, 2023 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House at the age of 77. Roger was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 22, 1947. After graduating from Edward Little High School he attended University of Southern Maine and started Vosmus Associates managing mutli-family housing. In August of 1976 he married Rhona, celebrating 47 years of marriage in 2023. Roger lived a full life diving head first into all endeavors whether it was as complicated as managing his business or as simple as wrapping a present, everything he truly cared about displayed unmatched perfection. He had a larger than life personality with a true talent for storytelling which could be witnessed everywhere from Mr. Bagel in Windham to the bleachers at any ice area in New England. Nothing made him happier than being spotted as Santa Claus especially by his grandkids, except for maybe an overly friendly dog or cat. To paraphrase two of his favorite people "We love you Papa Roger; you were a good cat." Roger is survived by his wife, Rhona Vosmus and two children; Stephanie Vosmus and husband John Michaud of South Portland, ME; William Vosmus and wife Kalley Vosmus of Windham, ME; his grandchildren Ella, Vienna and Brielle Vosmus of Windham, ME Roger's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Gosnell for your open hearts and compassionate care of Roger and his family.
