Sharon L. (Madden) Bobalek, 77, wife of Stephen Bobalek, died peacefully on November 29, 2021 at The Lamp Memory Care Center in Lisbon, Maine after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on April 2,1944 in Greenfield, daughter of Guy and Pansy (Faulkner) Madden. She graduated from the University of Maine Orono and taught elementary school in New York state before working as a bookkeeper for Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway Maine and later for several independent companies and accountants. She enjoyed reading many different kinds of books, board games and was an early user of home computers, all interests that she continued throughout her retirement. She was also an avid lover of animals and arts and crafts. Surviving in addition to her husband of 53 years, are her son Edward and wife Sonya Bobalek of Topsham, Maine, brothers Hollis and wife Barbie Madden of Jacksonville Beach Florida, and Carroll and wife Veda Madden of Greenbush Maine, two grandchildren, Kayla Bobalek of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dominic and wife Diana Bobalek of Augusta Maine. Sharon is predeceased by her sister Maxine and husband Roy Quint, brother Stephen and wife Edna Madden. There will be no funeral services, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
