With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Ann Peters on February 15, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness, humor, and unwavering strength. Susan dedicated much of her career to Amenity Manor Nursing Home, where she found her true calling - bringing comfort, laughter, and companionship to those in need. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, and her warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Despite facing a long and difficult illness, Susan fought with incredible strength and grace. She never lost her sharp wit, her infectious humor, or her boundless love for her family. She was sassy, smart, and endlessly caring - a woman who loved deeply and lived fully. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Margaret Linscott, and her siblings, Randy Cole, Richard Cole, Paul Cole, and Pamela Cole. Susan is survived by her beloved sister, Diana Mullen and her husband Jim Mullen, and her sister in law Elke Cole. She leaves behind her cherished sons, John Lewis and his wife Cassidy Lewis, Brandon Lewis and his wife Nicole Lewis, and Neil Lewis. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Olivia Reed, Briana and Demetrius Dawson, Bronwyn Valade, Monica Lewis, Alanna Lewis, Colby Lewis, and Rose Lewis. Susan's love and light will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished, her laughter will be remembered, and her legacy of love and kindness will endure. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her memory by spreading joy, sharing a smile, and showing kindness to others - just as she always did. Rest in peace, Susan. You will be deeply missed.
