Thomas Edward Hayes, born on August 2, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, in Lisbon Falls, Maine after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Tom was the beloved husband of Xana Hayes and the cherished son of Jessie and Mary Ellen Hayes. He grew up in Bangor, Maine, where he graduated from high school before embarking on a career with Canteen Service and Casco Bay Vending. His commitment to his work and the relationships he built along the way were a testament to his character. Tom is lovingly remembered by his two sons: Matthew Hayes, Jason Hayes and his wife Heather. He also leaves behind his brother Robert Hayes and his wife Paula. Tom shared a special bond with his family and found great joy in spending time fishing and boating with his sons and his granddog Bridie. Tom will be remembered fondly by those who knew him for his warmth and steadfast presence. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Tom at a later date.
