In Loving Memory of Wilfred Paul Gordon July 2, 1966 – April 7, 2025 Beloved Father, Grandpa, Son, Brother, and Friend Wilfred Paul Gordon 58, of Madison Died April 7, 2025 at Mid Maine Medical Center in Portland surrounded by family. He was born July 2, 1966 to Shirley Emery(Cooley) and Lewis Gordon Jr. both of Madison Maine. Wilfred attended Madison schools and earned his GED. In his early years, he worked at Medwed Shoe in Skowhegan. Later, he found his true calling in the woods, spending the latter half of his life self-employed as a woodsman—a job he truly loved. Before his health declined, he also worked at Clarks Farm in Canaan, Maine. A true jack of all trades, Wilfred had a remarkable talent for fixing anything broken. He was known for his unmatched ability to tinker and repair, often breathing new life into things others would throw away. Wilfred had a vibrant personality, a great sense of humor, and a big heart. He was the kind of person who always showed up when you needed someone. He loved to tell tall tales, pull off light-hearted practical jokes, and bring laughter wherever he went. A lover of the outdoors, Wilfred enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, and snowmobiling with his family, friends, and beloved dog Copper. But more than anything, he cherished being a Dad and Grandpa—roles he embraced with all his heart. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unwavering support—a true one-of-a-kind spirit who will be deeply missed.
